This role will report to the Head of Business Applications. As a Business Applications Support specialist, your focus will be on providing technical support and troubleshooting for various business applications, with a primary emphasis on eCommerce platforms, integrations, telephony, and other business applications. 

You'll collaborate closely with business users, developers, and vendors to ensure these applications perform optimally and seamlessly integrate. Additionally, you'll play a key role in testing, documenting, and training for these applications.

What will you do?

  • Provide first and second level support for business applications, with a primary focus on eCommerce systems. 
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to the eCommerce application, including integrations with other systems.
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, and vendors to identify and troubleshoot the root causes of issues.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams or vendors.
  • Maintain and update support procedures, knowledge base articles, and user guides for both eCommerce and other smaller business applications.
  • Conduct testing and validation of applications before and after changes, upgrades, or releases.
  • Deliver training and guidance to business users on effective utilization of the applications.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving or enhancing both eCommerce and other business applications.
  • Problem-solve application issues in alignment with operational priorities and timelines, following established procedures and processes.
  • Provide technical support for operational procedures and processes.
  • Undertake user testing during software release scheduling for acceptance and production environments.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with external vendors, collaborating on both BAU support work and project-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the digital team to address eCommerce-related issues and initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and strategies.

Who are you?

  • Demonstrated experience in providing first and second-level support for eCommerce systems – preferably Dynamics 365 F&O Commerce.
  • Deep understanding of the Out-of-the-Box Commerce API used by the eCommerce platforms. This includes familiarity with its functionalities, endpoints, and data structures.
  • Strong understanding of OData and its implementation within the context of eCommerce systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce integrations with Content Stack
  • Proven ability to monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues related to eCommerce applications, including integrations with other systems.
  • Familiarity with testing and validation processes for applications before and after changes, upgrades, or releases
