Overview:

The Business Change Consultant (BCC) Support Officer supports the Business Change Consultants in preparation activities for activation of the Sunrise EMR & PAS Application at a hospital or health services sites. 

The BCC Support Officer will also be responsible for contributing to the ongoing enhancement of business rules that define proper use of the Sunrise application by evaluating process based on experience using the EMR system and knowledge of administrative process in SA Health hospitals. 

The BCC Support Officer will be responsible for support of users in their area of expertise during the transition period before EMR Project roll-out and during the support period by the EMR BCC team for go-live and a period post go-live.

The BCC Support Officer is a change champion for the EMR Project within their particular area of expertise and has current experience in administrative areas of SA Health hospitals or services.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving ‘Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups’ is required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients) A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category B (indirect contact with blood or body substances)

SA Health Services are required to implement the in the workplace.

Special Conditions

May be required to work outside of normal business hours or as part of a roster during specific periods. The incumbent may be required to travel or work across and/or be located at any of the Department of Health units/divisions as required. A flexible approach to the taking of leave is required. Some travel may be required May be required to work 24/7 rosters.
