Seeking a Change Manager for a 6-month SA Govt EMR project; must have Project experience and travel readiness

**Your new company**

Join a pivotal arm of the South Australian Government, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in public service. This team is at the forefront of implementing transformative projects that significantly enhance community well-being and service delivery.

**Your new role**

As a Change Manager, you will spearhead the large-scale implementation of the Sunrise EMR system across multiple acute hospital sites and Community and Allied Health facilities. This 6-month contract role is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals and make a lasting impact on the healthcare landscape. This is the 4th regional network going through this activation and you will become a 'go-to' person who can help deliver a smooth change to business processes whilst understanding pressure points, documenting accordingly and helping resolve issues that arise in this activation. You may face some resistance but you'll have enough experience to deal with that.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You'll need a bit of gravitas and will be able to hold your own when you have stakeholders that could be resistant to change. You'll be able to bring people up to scratch and guide people in to their 'new world'.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in system implementations within the government sector.
- The ability to manage and direct a team of approximately 15, ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders for a seamless transition.
- Expertise in procuring necessary hardware, coordinating deployment stages, and adapting processes to integrate the Sunrise EMR system effectively.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate comprehensive training and respond promptly to information requests.
- Willingness to travel intrastate regularly, with a primary base in Adelaide CBD.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, dedicated exclusively to the success of this project.
