Job Opportunity: APS5 Case Coordinator – contract with a Federal Government client based in Canberra or Hobart

Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Communication: Engage with applicants, nominees, and support services with empathy, sensitivity, and clarity, while adhering to trauma-informed practices.
- Assessment & Analysis: Review applications, research participating institutions, assess supporting documentation, and provide informed recommendations on eligibility.
- Case Management: Act as the primary coordinator for applicants, keeping them informed throughout the process, and offering advice on redress legislation, policy, procedures, and payments.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of applications and redress processes, perform quality control checks, and review the work of others to maintain high standards.
- Record-Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate, comprehensive records including case notes, reports, and official documentation, with a focus on detail and accountability.
- Time Management: Effectively organize and prioritize your workload to meet performance expectations in a high-risk, high-demand environment.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a diverse team to manage cases and support applicants, while ensuring positive outcomes.
