CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAFTSPERSON NEEDED AT GOLD COAST DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT COMPANY

Airport Consultancy Group (ACG) is a global design and construction management company specialising in airports, particularly airport civil Infrastructure.

Our services include airport pavement construction, engineering, rehabilitation, onsite construction, and condition analysis. Our airport-only focus sets us apart in innovation, specialist expertise, and project delivery. We facilitate solutions for complex airport development projects in some of the most remote and challenging environments globally.

In light of our continued growth within the industry, and continually growing portfolio of projects, we are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team of civil engineering professionals and technologists.

Key Responsibilities

·               Create detailed drawings and plans to support civil engineering professionals and technologists.

·               Develop sketches, charts, tables, plans, and designs for civil engineering projects relating to airports and related structures.

·               Conduct and supervise fieldwork and laboratory testing.

·               Interpret work assignment instructions, apply appropriate procedures and select necessary equipment.

·               Gather and analyse data, performing related calculations.

·               Estimate material costs and ensure completed works adhere to specifications, regulations, and contract terms.

·               Inspect civil engineering projects and oversee maintenance and repair activities.

·               Carry out field and laboratory tests on construction materials and soils, as well as collecting data for surveys.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

·               A minimum of an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (2 years full time) is required.

·               At least two (2) years of relevant experience within the construction industry. Specific experience in airport projects is highly desired.

·               Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·               Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
