Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identify and facilitate new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue
  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to maximize value for our clients
  • Perform quantity surveying functions, including cost checking, value engineering, and tender evaluations
  • Contract negotiations, cash flow management, and procurement
  • Cost reporting, evaluation of variations, and final account reporting
  • Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation, and settlement of claims

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Full Australian working rights and current location in Australia
  • RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded
  • Proficient in the use of Cost X
  • Ability to produce top-down and bottom-up cost plans
  • Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle
  • Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissions
