Come & join the washroom crew in our Brisbane laundry based in Eagle Farm. This diverse team has multiple roles available, where you will be working processing linen and garments through their washing and drying cycles. This is a physical role where you will easily be able to see what you have achieved each day as the trucks of cleaned and packed products leave the branch on their way to our customers.

The early starts at 7:00AM are made much easier by the chance to get out off work in the early afternoon and get all those personal and family activities done during business hours, while those office workers are still at their desks. Alsco offers a safe, stable work environment with a good team and above award wages for this critical role in our business. You do not need to have any laundry experience as training is provided. The only requirement for this role is that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have proof of your right to work in Australia, and are able to meet the physical benchmarks that are assessed during our pre-employment medicals to ensure you can operate all the equipment and complete your new job safely.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our relationships with Customers via incoming calls & email. In partnership with the team of Service Delivery People (SDPs) at the branch the Customer Service Representative will build and maintain effective and efficient working relationships with all customers to ensure that we are always meeting our commitment to Service Excellence.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships via phone and email interaction
• Effectively handle customer enquiries and provide customer support
• Accurate and efficient data entry
• Work collaboratively
• Strong knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite
• Comply and support all health & safety procedures

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Relevant customer service working experiences, experience in a high-volume incoming call position would be advantageous
• Ability to work as a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills with clear and confident manner
• Excellent PC skills
