This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, developing bid strategies, and ensuring the production of high-quality, competitive bids. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the entire bid process, ensuring necessary resources are available.
  • Manage the tender process from opportunity identification to submission, including liaising with SMEs.
  • Create high-quality tender presentations to support the delivery of the tender process.
  • Manage all relevant databases and CRMs to capture opportunity, tender, and customer data.
  • Work closely with business development and sales teams to develop winning bid strategies.
  • Manage post-tender documentation, audits, and communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-tender debriefs, identifying organisational strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements.

Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years marketing experience
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant industries and markets.
  • Ideally, have tender writing experience.
  • Intermediate to advance in content creation and technical writing
  • Excellent relationship management skills and ability to communicate with people across various levels.
