Our Water team promotes holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations, helping with network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and future-ready strategies.

We work with key water authorities nationally including Hunter Water, Sydney Water, TasWater, Logan Water, SA Water and Urban Utilities to name a few.

What you’ll do:

  • Design of Sydney Water’s assets (potable water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater)
  • Work on water projects from Application to Project Completion
  • Partner with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations and undertaking mandatory Sydney Water inspections including connections
  • Client management including liaising with Sydney Water's AIS and Service Delivery teams
  • Data analysis, interpretation and assessment to achieve project goals
  • Design coordination and submission of proposals ensuring relevant timeframes and budgets are met
  • Prepare FIFM plans and Bonding Arrangements for submission
  • Prepare and submit Sydney Water applications
  • Undertake field work

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in design and in a Water Servicing Coordinator role
  • Previous experience in project management on Sydney Water projects, or with other relevant water authorities
  • Strong understanding of WSAA codes and Sydney Water’s codes, policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge across relevant computing packages including AutoCAD, and MS packages (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor of Engineering an advantage but not essential
  • Sydney Water category accreditations an advantage (FIFM, W1, W2, W3, S1, S2, C1,C2, C3 and/or C4)
