What's so exciting about this role?

The Credit Risk team at hummgroup is responsible for managing the end-to-end credit life cycle of our customers. We are a relatively flat organisational structure, and as a member of the team you are accountable for end-to-end responsibility for your area of focus and will need to be flexible and able to take on additional and/or different accountabilities as required.

The purpose of this role is to inform and support the team through data, research, analytics, and reporting. You will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to team and the company The role will be focused on a suite of products in AU.

The Credit Operations team are responsible for the assessment and processing of all Regulated Consumer Credit Applications within Hummgroup.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

  • Daily assessment of credit applications currently including Australian Personal Loan Applications and both Australian & New Zealand Credit Card Applications
  • Manage departmental tasks, including applications, emails and phone lines
  • Provide high level of customer service to customers, Merchants and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring our credit decisioning are aligned to our Credit policy guidelines
  • Work unsupervised and under challenging deadlines
  • Collating Credit Reports, References and Other supporting documents for Credit Submission

We’re also looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience in the credit assessment of Personal Loan applications
  • A strong strategic, planning and prioritise skills to effectively manage workloads as well as a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to produce results, in an environment where stretch objectives are continually set to meet increasing customer expectations
  • Advanced verbal, written and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team and proactively contribute to the achievement of team goals.
