We are seeking a Quality and Inventory Warehouse Supervisor, to lead and implement continuous improvement in quality to meet Volkswagen Group Australia (Logistics Process Audit) Quality standards.
 

The role
 

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, as a high-level overview you will:
 

  • Maintain all daily aspects relating to warehouse quality, stock control and storage maintenance
  • Ensure Quality Control processes are performed systematically
  • Ensure the timely processing of AIMS
  • Storage planning, and inventory accuracy.
  • Lead and implement quality standards, and a continuous improvement culture across the site to achieve operational excellence,
  • Lead and manage the team and resources effectively
  • Owner of training on site, including ensuring development of local training matrixes in line with national framework and correct delivery to training requirements
  • Review operational processes and streamline where possible
  • Ensure OH&S guidelines are incorporated into daily activities

You will have:
 

  • Proven and previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating a team including managing KPIs
  • Forklift licence
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi task
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to operate on a WMS (Warehouse Management System – SAP desirable)
  • Experience in a 3PL environment and Automotive industry exp highly desirable
