  • Analyse applicability of global trade control requirements to DCS and FMS Programs;
  • Providing technical classification jurisdiction determinations, working with customers and US counterparts.

Role Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or related disciplines are favourable, but not essential;
  • 7-10 years’ advanced knowledge of sovereign Australian export controls regulations, as well as US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is required;
  • Legal, Policy or Legislative Experience;
  • Acquisition experience in the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) or Prime Contractor organisation;
  • Substantial experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Customs Procedures; and/or
  • Effective customer service, strong communication and influencing skills working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain NV1 clearance to meet defence security requirements.

About Us

In addition to a competitive salary, our employees benefit from flexible working options, global opportunities, salary packaging, performance incentives, study assistance, wellbeing programs and discounts on health insurance, travel and accommodation.

We’re also committed to fostering an environment that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive for every employee, with great opportunities for professional growth.

As an equal opportunity employer, female candidates, people of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent and ex-defence personnel are encouraged to apply. We are also open to candidates from other industries including mining, communications, ICT and oil and gas.
