Company Overview:

This reputable major bank is highly regarded and is a great opportunity for an experienced business, commercial, agricultural focused or private banker to join an existing portfolio and established and work alongside a well respected and collaborative team within the commercial/corporate segment in Darwin.
 
Role Overview:

You will be responsible for managing existing and new key commercial customers and new-to-bank opportunities and supporting bank driven initiatives and providing excellent customer satisfaction and experience.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing, onboarding and originating new-to-bank opportunities
  • Managing key existing business customers within the current portfolio
  • Adhering to bank compliance and lending regulations as required
  • Submitting and preparing credit proposals
  • Support the wider team with relevant coaching and mentoring
  • Assist in achieving all relevant sales targets and team goals

Skills and Experience required:

  • 5+ years' experience within a relationship management or business development role within a similar bank environment within the commercial or private banking segment
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid financial acumen and credit writing skills

This is a great opportunity to enhance and develop as a relationship manager in a well established bank and portfolio as well as work alongside a close knit team of dynamic bankers.
