Skimlinks, a Taboola company, is a global e-commerce monetisation platform, with offices in EMEA, APAC, and US. We work with over 60,000 premium publishers (Hearst, Conde Nast, Yahoo, News Corp Australia) and 50,000 retailers around the world (Nike, Emma Sleep, lululemon, Dyson...) helping content publishers get paid commissions for the products and brands they write about within their commerce articles.. Our technology understands the web pages users visit, the brands and products they look at, the links they click on, and the purchases they make, across our entire network. We track over $2.5m affiliated sales every day and have the expertise and the tools to power all commerce strategies on every channel development of new Merchant / Advertiser client relationships.

Connexity has recently been acquired by Taboola to make the first Open-Web Source for Publishers connecting editorial content to product recommendations, where readers can easily buy products related to stories they are reading.

As a result of our continued growth and expansion, we're seeking a professional and passionate Associate Account Manager to manage a portfolio of Merchants & Advertisers, for our APAC team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evangelising how Merchants, Networks, Agencies and Publishers can all benefit from the Skimlinks products and network
  • Compiling and analysing reports, to monitor and present back progress on existing merchant programs including top-performing publishers
  • Reviewing existing merchant relationships and contributing to optimisation strategies
  • Setting up, monitoring & logging merchant progress via internal systems and with Excel reports
  • Working with the Operations team to analyse data and ensure our programs are technically optimised
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly business reviews and lunch and learns for our partners
  • Enforcing strong network quality standards across Skimlinks Publishers in regards to how they promote Merchants
  • Working with the Senior Account Manager ANZ to negotiate and set up the most exclusive rates for partners
  • Attending conferences and industry events to represent Skimlinks to prospective partners
  • Working with the Senior Account Management team to establish key buyer personas within their portfolio
  • Create strategic relationships by identifying growth opportunities, building a trusted working relationship and identifying organisational pain points
  • Support a portfolio within the APAC region of merchant/advertisers
  • Support with various administrative tasks as required, including but not limited to, creating insertion orders, compiling merchant offers for publishers, preparing newsletters and documenting optimisations.

Requirements

  • An understanding of the advertising, affiliate networks (Partnerize, Commission Factory, Impact, Rakuten), paid search, online publishing or media industry strong relationships with advertisers would be preferable.
  • Understanding of CPA & CPC cost models and KPIs associated with Publisher ecosystem (revenue per redirect, revenue per session, conversion, cost of sale, etc.
  • Success in negotiating, relationship building and business development would be desirable
  • Strong analytic, quantitative and technical aptitude with great attention to detail
  • Driven to help clients find growth opportunity
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, flexible, and adaptable
  • Experience with Salesforce/Microsoft Office/Excel/PowerPoint would be an advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree desired
