The Company 

  • Residential project / volume home builder that's been in business for over 30 years. 
  • Build a mixture of single & double storey homes, duplexes and granny flats.
  • Also undertake subdivision projects for land developers.
  • Good working culture with a low turnover of staff.
  • Office based in South West Sydney near to Liverpool.

About The Job Role 

  • Permit Officer / Permit Administrator job vacancy within the customer service and pre-construction team.
  • Reporting into the General Manager.
  • The role will offer a basic salary between $70,000 and $100,000 plus super, depending on experience.

Duties  

  • Pre-construction administration duties. 
  • Obtaining local authority approvals for home construction projects.
  • Liaison within internal teams such as drafting & design, estimating and sales.
  • Liaison and coordination with local authorities, external consultants and other project stakeholders to ensure project and construction compliance.
  • Obtaining all approvals and compliance approvals within required timeframes.
  • Liaison with clients.

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • Previous experience of working with a volume and project home builder.
  • Experience of preconstruction administration and permit approval requirements.
  • Good knowledge of relevant construction legislation, processed and permits.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good team player.
