This newly created position providesthe opportunity to join our Accounting Team of 9 at an exciting time of growthfor the company. This role will be basedin our Richlands office in Southwest Brisbane.

This Senior role will assistwith all accounting and finance needs as required by the business and directedby the Accounting Manager. Thesuccessful candidate will have superior communication skills with the abilityto interact with people at all levels plus an interest in training andmentoring junior colleagues.

You will have excellentattention to detail with motivation and determination, the ability to problem solveand troubleshoot. You will utilise yourknowledge to deliver accurate and dependable results. The key responsibilities of thisrole will include but not limited to:

Month End and financialreporting Financial Accounting Relatedtasks FBT, Tax, Consolidations Lease and property management(AASB16) Accounting for Acquisitions Developing capabilities in theteam 

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

CPA or CA qualified accountant.
Extensive experience in a similar role for a complex sizeable company, ideally within a dealership company
Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including financial reporting.
Technical competency, AASB and IFRS
Strong MS Office skills, with intermediate/advanced MS Excel.
Experience using financial systems including ERP and electronic workflow solutions desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven track record in achieving results with the ability to prioritise, work in accordance with reporting needs.
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent proactive management of such opportunities.
Confident in decision making and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes.
Ability to provide Leadership to a medium sized team.
