This opportunity allows you to be part of a dynamic Accounting Team, focused on delivering exceptional results in a rapidly growing company.

The successful candidate will possess superior communication skills, the ability to interact with people at all levels, and a genuine interest in training and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Month-End and financial reporting
  • Financial accounting related tasks FBT, Tax, Consolidations
  • Lease and property management (AASB16)
  • Accounting for Acquisitions
  • Developing capabilities in the team

Requirements include:

  • CPA or CA qualified accountant
  • Extensive experience in a similar role for a complex sizeable company, ideally within a dealership company
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, including financial reporting
  • Technical competency, AASB and IFRS
  • Strong MS Office skills, with intermediate/advanced MS Excel
  • Experience using financial systems including ERP and electronic workflow solutions desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record in achieving results with the ability to prioritise, work in accordance with reporting needs
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent proactive management of such opportunities
  • Confident in decision making and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes
  • Ability to provide Leadership to a medium sized team
