In this hands-on-role you will be responsible for effectively designing, implementing, and maintaining West HQ’s Technology Infrastructure whilst ensuring security and stability of the network and systems.

 

Key duties include:

  • Designing, deploying and maintaining Windows-based server infrastructure;
  • Implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure;
  • Configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks;
  • Providing input into the strategy and direction of Networking systems based on business needs and ensuring the most amount of uptime;
  • Ensuring the security of IT systems and networks, including implementing appropriate security measures, monitoring, and incident response;
  • Monitoring, supporting and maintenance of the Active directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and others;
  • Maintain health of the infrastructure systems by keeping upgrades and patches current and by troubleshooting and resolving issues with the associated tools;
  • Providing L2 to L3 support for the service desk request when needed; and
  • Monitoring the IT Infrastructure on premises including the cluster, SAN, NAS, UPS, Servers and other technologies.

 

What you will need to be considered:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years network and system management experience.
  • Tenure in a network and compute admin/support role.
  • Demonstrated experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN.
  • Experience in infrastructure, Layer 2 and Layer 3 network as well as IPv4 network, routing and firewall management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and associated services like DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong experience with Virtualization technology including VMware
  • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS Software (CCNA desirable).
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki Solution.
  • MCSA and Microsoft Azure Certification (desirable)
  • Certifications in a project management methodology i.e. Agile, PMP, PMBoK, Prince2.
  • Full Australian work rights.
