Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Technical Operator to join our team at West HQ. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our aquatic facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Pool Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our aquatic facilities, including plant room administration and practical management.
  • You will work closely with our team to deliver safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming experiences for all members and guests.
  • Assist in the implementation of aquatic industry codes and regulations, including RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Lifeguard responsibilities.
  • Ensure the pool water chemistry, sanitation, and filtration systems are functioning optimally.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities are safe and well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience in aquatic technical operations or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant aquatic industry codes and regulations.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • Pool Plant/Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • Working with Children Check.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Broad industry experience.
  • Royal Life Saving Approved Workplace Supervisor.
  • Experience in using CRM platforms.
