About the role
The Patient Liaison Officer works closely with the Patient Liaison Lead to oversee and address patient and family feedback that requires follow-up beyond the point of service. This role handles complaints and feedback with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and in line with Cabrini policies.
This is a part time position working 5 days a fortnight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feedback Monitoring: Partner with the Patient Liaison Lead to oversee patient and family feedback, ensuring independent, sensitive, and effective resolution of complaints.
- Resolution Facilitation: Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve feedback and complaints, tracking the progress of resolutions to ensure timely responses as per our Feedback and Complaints Management Policy.
- Documentation and Response: Handle, refer, and compile feedback from patients, families, and others. Prepare and deliver timely written responses as directed.
- Compliment and Suggestion Management: Collaborate with the Patient Liaison Lead to manage the acknowledgement, distribution, and collation of compliments and suggestions.
About you
- Minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to address feedback and complaints with care and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills for effective tracking and management of feedback and resolutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A collaborative approach to working with various stakeholders to improve patient and family experiences.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to work closely with various stakeholders and communicate and negotiate at senior levels
