This role is a key component to the success of our Townsville Branch. As a Customer Banking Consultant, you will be responsible for the highest delivery of an excellent customer experience and seamless service to our existing and new customers through our face to face, phone and digital channels. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle teller functions, including deposits, withdrawals, account opening/closing, and general enquiries
- Actively promote Auswide Bank's suite of products including Home & Personal Loans, Term Deposits, Insurance, International Transfers and Credit Cards
- Assess customers’ financial needs and identify any changes or abnormalities, essentially completing a ‘Financial Health Check’
- Ensure compliance with Auswide Bank’s Policy & Procedures, privacy guidelines, and other applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate efficiently with the team, participate in problem-solving initiatives, and drive innovation to enhance the organisation’s capabilities
- Complete all compliance training and obligations in a timely manner
- Work cooperatively with other personnel and external partners to achieve the company’s objectives and assigned tasks
About You
As well as having excellent & effective problem solving, negotiation and communication skills, you will also need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in uncovering customer needs in a customer service environment, preferably from the banking industry
- Experience working with KPI’s
- The capacity to become proficient with a variety of technical financial systems
- A passion for helping customers achieve their financial dreams and goals
- Open to learning and engaging with key stakeholders across the business
- A desire to grow and develop within Auswide Bank
