Built from the ground up by two business partners, our client is an up and coming IT services consultancy who have grown significantly in Brisbane over the past 3 years and are pushing into the Melbourne market

Your Role

As their business is picking up in Melbourne, this would be their first Melbourne-based employee who could take on a leading position for the Melbourne operation in the future.

As Technical Account Manager, your role will be to build relationships with existing clients within the Melbourne area to ensure their services are functioning well and advise customers of opportunities for additional services, products or solutions, as well as commencing with Business Development activities (bringing your own customer base as well as developing existing client relationships).

Your directors are based in Brisbane and are two of the nicest humans you’ll ever work for You’ll travel to Brisbane for initial onboarding and be setup with a serviced office space in Melbourne’s CBD.

About You

As this is a true greenfields role, the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with a strong drive to manage a footprint in an already-established medium-sized IT services consultancy.

You will bring Account Management experience from a technical field (ie IT services or print sales) with industry connections and you must be comfortable in dealing with IT systems that support end-to-end business processes across the customers' value chain.

This is a rare opportunity for a driven Account Manager to pursue growth and continue into a management role as additional headcount are added to the Melbourne office in the years to come.
