We have a Deputy Director Business Relationship position available in our HR and Case team within the ERP Support Organisation (ESO).

Within this role you will have a chance to:

Establish effective relationships between stakeholders, and take ownership for the relationship between the function and end users. Analyse and proactively manage business demand. Act as a key conduit for senior business functions into the HR & Case suite of sustainment services. Provide oversight of strategic, tactical and operational challenges faced by the business. Utilise technology specialists to determine appropriate solutions. Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders. Collaborate with senior leadership to devise business engagement. Lead, manage and develop your team to deliver timely outcomes.

About our Team
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a key enabler of the One Defence reform agenda. ERP will standardise and integrate critical functions needed to run the Department into a single SAP platform resulting in a major capability uplift for Defence. 

The Program will simplify and align processes and technology and implement a whole of Defence transformation across Groups and Services. 

The ERP Support Organisation (ESO) is responsible for the coordination of ERP sustainment services across legacy applications and new S/4 HANA capabilities. ESO adopts the DDG Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework for end-to-end ICT service integration and deliver integrated governance, operating model, processes and structure in support of the ERP Operating Model.

Have experience in setting expectations and directing the work of others. Be adept at managing performance through coaching and mentoring. Understand how to gather and interpret customer requirements and manage priorities. Have knowledge of SAP environments.
