Established in 2007, Sanmik is proudly Australian-owned and supplies a broad range of premium quality organic and natural food products to a global customer base. With a focus on foods traditionally grown in tropical regions, Sanmik distributes directly to the wholesale, retail and food service industry locally and overseas.
Based in Sydney, Sanmik is now seeking to recruit an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager and a creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Sales & Marketing Manager:
As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our products and brand across the following tasks:
- Defining, developing and implementing clear sales and marketing strategies to drive sale revenue growth across the wholesale, retail and food service sales channels to increase uptake of the company’s diverse product suite and maximise sales revenue growth;
- Defining and setting sales targets, and identifying key performance measures to best drive sales revenue growth across the wholesale, retail and food service sales channels;
- Sourcing, recruiting, training, supervising and performance managing sales and marketing staff to achieve sales targets and build solid customer relationships across key target markets;
- Attending sales meetings and presenting the value of the Sanmik product suite, including identifying customer needs and goals, and offering solutions that best define how Sanmik can achieve them;
- Developing, defining and implementing sales release cycle methodologies to optimise sales take-up rates;
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to best support sales efforts by promoting the Sanmik product suite to decision makers across each target customer segment;
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to build Sanmik’s brand and image as a world class producer, processor and distributor of premium quality food products, supported by positive customer testimonials;
- Developing and implementing front-end and back-end processes and procedures to maximise the productivity and performance of the sales and marketing function;
- Developing and implementing measurable marketing strategies that best support sales efforts including procuring and managing external marketing agencies to promote the Sanmik product suite and brand across key target markets;
- Analysing and evaluating the effectiveness of sales methods, budgets, and results and making changes to optimise results.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree qualification and 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. Marketing Specialist:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, increase brand awareness and boost sales across the following tasks:
- Identifying and defining market opportunities, and developing & coordinating measurable marketing campaigns across target customer markets to best support sales efforts and optimize profits;
- Advising management on all elements of marketing including advertising strategies and marketing campaigns to reach target markets;
- Building Sanmik brand recognition, awareness and the company’s reputation across target markets;
- Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns including email, social media, and website content to reach target customer markets;
- Creating engaging and relevant content to establish thought leadership and drive customer engagement;
- Actively promoting the key benefits of Sanmik service suite through marketing initiatives to drive call-to-action and support sales efforts;
- Identifying the appropriate media channels to reach target markets and coordinating production of advertising campaigns including artwork, copywriting, media scripting and media placement within time and budgetary constraints;
- Developing and enforcing Sanmik brand marketing guidelines to create a cohesive feel across each marketing campaign;
- Researching and analysing data including target customer hiring patterns & preferences, pricing, as well as demographic data to interpret and predict future trends;
- Exploring and researching additional opportunities for new service offerings across target markets that are in Sanmik scope;
- Collaborating with sales to ensure marketing efforts support sales and overall business goals;
- Supporting business growth through the preparation and execution of marketing plans, objectives, policies and programs.
