About the role
The Head of Marketing and Recruitment, a key member of the Leadership Group reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the Board of Directors' delegated authority, is responsible for spearheading the Institute’s marketing strategy and student recruitment efforts. This role involves optimising the performance of both direct and digital channels and driving revenue, business growth, and new opportunities. The Head of Marketing and Recruitment will be responsible for leading a team to 10 professionals across Sydney and Melbourne.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning : Work closely with the CEO to implement the Institute’s Strategic Plan. Provide operational support in Marketing and Recruitment to achieve domestic and international growth objectives.
  • Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture, with a focus on best practices in recruitment, performance accountability, talent optimisation, capability development, and succession planning within Marketing and Recruitment to achieve long-term strategic goals and enhance team engagement.
  • Marketing: Lead the marketing strategy for AIM by further developing and refining the marketing plan, ensuring that all aspects of the marketing mix, including segmentation and campaigns, align with long-term strategic goals.
  • Student recruitment: Oversee the annual student recruitment planning process and establish targets for new enrolments to drive revenue. Direct the implementation of lead generation campaigns to improve conversion rates.

  
About You
The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with a deep understanding of higher education marketing and recruitment. With a proven track record of proactive management and success in meeting student recruitment targets, along with a creative approach to developing effective recruitment strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to work within prescribed budgets while achieving financial, student recruitment, and marketing targets.
  • Proven experience in managing various aspects of the marketing mix, including planning, segmentation, campaign execution, events, online and direct marketing, social media, and public relations.
  • Track record of executing successful social media and brand campaigns, managing global networks, and a thorough knowledge of Customer Management Systems (Salesforce).
