The role

The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation in accordance with both relevant regulatory and Allianz requirements, to maintain a focus on strategic collaboration and case management at all times to maximise return to work and return to health outcomes for claimants, consistently displaying initiative and leadership on a team and business level. 

You'll be responsible for

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of claims for corporate clients.
  • Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders meeting Allianz’s service principles.
  • Determining liability and timely assessment of treatment requests.
  • Appropriately documenting claims decisions.
  • Utilising claims management systems.
  • Developing and implementing claims strategies that deliver positive and sustainable outcomes.
  • Meeting key compliance and performance measures.
  • Coaching and supporting newer team members.

About you

  • Experience as a Workers Compensation Case Manager or other personal injury lines.
  • You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a customer focused approach.
  • You have the ability to handle difficult situations and whilst resolving complex situations in a timely manner.
  • You are proactive with the drive to learn and develop skills.
  • You have excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt when changes occur.
