Senior Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Case Manager to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of workers compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of claims for clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Interpret and apply various legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assess injuries, including reviewing medical reports and surgical requests, to determine the extent of damages.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and other stakeholders to achieve fair and reasonable outcomes.
  • Provide instructions to legal counsel and liaise with key external stakeholders, including brokers, insureds, solicitors, doctors, and claimants.
  • Utilize claims management systems to track and manage claims efficiently.
  • Develop strategies to progress matters towards resolution, ensuring timely and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Assist in the retention of major clients by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a claims management role within workers compensation, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle complex and sensitive situations, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Proactive and driven, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
