A new position has been created as Social Media and Content Coordinator as a result of our amazing marketing team being promoted internally to new and exciting positions to support their career development. Working only 2 days in our Doncaster office, this role is integral in shaping our social media presence and engaging our audience.

Role Overview: We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media and Content Coordinator to produce fun and engaging content and develop new social media strategies to enhance brand presence and drive audience growth.  This role is all about creativity, collaboration, and connecting with our community. If you’re passionate about social media and storytelling, we want you on our team

The role will involve:

  • Ideation: Come up with fun, engaging and relevant ideas to engage and grow our audience appropriate for each platform
  • Content Creation: Produce and edit high-quality visual content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn,) for our national and local store campaigns
  • Scheduling: Plan and schedule content 4 weeks in advance  
  • Strategy Development: Develop a social media calendar that aligns with our brand and marketing goals. Create and implement social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to track engagement and growth, providing insightful reports on social media performance and audience trends.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant to capture new customers we well as retaining existing ones
  • Community Management: Actively engage with our audience, responding to comments and messages across all social channels, and fostering a positive community experience.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • 2 years’ experience managing social media and creating content for a similar retail and/or services business
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, in particular Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Proficient in video and editing software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Understanding of social media algorithms and insights and how to effectively apply current trends  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong attention to detail
