At AMES Australasia, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team based in our Doncaster Head Office. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders and staff across various sites to ensure compliance with WHS, workers compensation, and RTW requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing HR programs, policies, and procedures
- Ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines and compliance
- Providing high-quality support and advice on HR matters, including employee welfare, performance management, policy interpretation, wellness, and health
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal, IR, award, regulatory, and Company WHS compliance requirements
- Developing and producing various HR reports and statistics
- Working closely with the Head of People and Culture to ensure learning and knowledge sharing across all HR and business teams
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Human Resources or similar qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the HR Generalist space
- Sound knowledge of employment law, Industrial relations, and fair work practices
- Strong communication, computer literacy, and time management skills
- Ability to "manage up" and work with company leaders in a constructive and collaborative way
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in an evolving environment
- Curiosity and empathy, with an eye for the bigger picture
