What does the job look like?
The role of the End User Compute Specialist is to ensure the support and maintenance of Linfox’s internal users and infrastructure.
Key areas:
- Provide COTS applications, network, operating system, and hardware support to end-users on a variety of issues resulting in superior customer satisfaction
- Documents and tracks issues to ensure timely resolution
- Monitor and assist troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile device, telecom, and networking problems as they occur
- Maintains inventory control of IT equipment and systems at all assigned facilities
- Assist on-going assessment and commissioning of End User Devices
- Assist with resolution of escalated incidents as required
Are you the one?
We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist who enjoys problem solving, investigating and has a good eye for detail. You can demonstrate:
- Tertiary bachelor’s degree in technology or similar qualification
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems, Windows10, M365 Suite
- Demonstrated strong technical support troubleshooting skills
- Experience in management of large, complex user/interface related issues
- Demonstrated experience with various types of service/field operations
- Proven experience working to specific SLAs within an enterprise environment
