**About the Role**:
Green Options is an award-winning Australia-wide sports turf and landscape management company that specialises in providing sports turf services to many of Australia's most high profile stadiums and sporting grounds.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Turf Specialist to join our team working in the **northern suburbs of Melbourne.**

You will be responsible for providing turf management and grounds maintenance services and your days will be filled with various tasks. Experience in preparation of cricket wickets will be highly regarded.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing hands-on turf maintenance working in a team environment, leveraging both operational experience and expertise
- Fine turf management and input into the seasonal turf maintenance program, identifying, analysing and treating weeds, pests and diseases, irrigation control, fertilising turf and maintaining a renovation program
- Mixing, decanting and spraying chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilisers
- Management of the irrigation system and moisture control
- General grounds maintenance including: mowing and edging lawns to specifications, pruning, weeding, leaf and rubbish removal
- The use of horticultural equipment: a blower, hedger, whipper snipper, push mower and ride on mower, edger etc.

**About You**:

- Diploma in Sports Turf (preferred) or Certificate III in Sports Turf (required)
- Strong background in sports turf
- Experience with cricket wickets is preferred
- A manual drivers licence is preferred
- Chemical Users licence (ACUP) is preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Great communication skills and the ability to think on your feet
