What does the job look like?

The role of WS Functional Specialist is responsible for building capabilities that meet the business' requirements.

This role will include rollouts of new capabilities and supporting existing clients as well as fresh implementations of the Linfox Warehouse Management Solutions for different customers.

The incumbent will also be required to ensure regulatory compliance and quality checks to ensure the solution remains validated.

Key areas:

  • Assist in the development of processes, systems and functions to package, build, test, deploy and support Warehouse Management capabilities into a live environment to enable controlled and effective handover to the wider WMS Functional Teams, Business Operations and the User Community.
  • Use the appropriate tools and techniques for developing specific areas of Warehouse Management solutions. Ensures the recording of activities, logging of results and documentation of technical activity undertaken are accurate and as required. Carries out early life support activities such as assisting with Post Go Live and ongoing support.
  • Creates, assesses and analyses release components. Carries out the deployment and tests in coordination with testers/operations/specialists maintaining and administering the tools and methods manual or automatic and ensuring, information exchange with the wider WMS Functional Teams. Ensures release processes and procedures are maintained and applied.
  • Serves as functional resource on product build, deployment, installation, upgrade, support or other project requirements.
Are you the one?

This role involves providing expertise in the development, implementation, deployment and maintenance of Linfox's warehouse products

You can demonstrate:

  • SAP certifications in EWM, WM and related supply chain areas are preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing solutions across SAP modules such as SAP EWM, SAP WM and SAP LE/SD/MM.
  • Exposure to warehouse management operations and processes.
  • Exposure to automation and B2B interfaces.
  • Thorough understanding of how IT can deliver business value.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to develop credibility with staff, clients, and senior leaders.
