UGL Utilities are looking for Trade Assistants to join the Hunter Power Project Team.

The Hunter Power Project is the construction of a 660MW Power Station comprising of two heavy-duty open cycle gas turbines. Located in the in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, 35 km west of Newcastle.

About You:

•    Assist tradespeople by positioning and holding metal stock or products to enable work to be carried out;
•    Hand tools to tradespeople, and hold tools not immediately required;
•    Perform assembly and dismantling operations, such as screwing and bolting;
•    Obtain store supplies necessary to complete a set task. This includes both materials and suitable tools
•    Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches;
 
Key Requirements:

•    White Card
•    Ability to work unsupervised or requiring minimal supervision
•    Leadership ability
•    Relevant trade qualification or pipe fitting experience.
