Our client is a highly respected engineering company with extensive experience in providing word class quality products to the mining and construction industry.

They pride themselves on quality services with a strong emphasis on safety including custom design and fabrication, equipment repair and maintenance, as well as equipment hire.


  • Due to growth, we're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work to join their team as a Trades Assistant/Warehousing. This unique position requires a high level of attention to detail and a proactive helpful and flexible approach to assist trades staff with the repair and build of intricate pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and stores staff with pick, pack and despatch activities.
  • The varied workload across two departments calls for a cooperative, flexible approach, working to timeframes and ensuring quality job completion

The Role:

  • Receiving, shipping, storing and packing stock in the warehouse.
  • Assist trades with fitting, assembly, repair requirements
  • General housekeeping of workshop
  • Ensure all policy, procedures and safety requirements are adhered to at all times

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a fitting workshop or similar
  • Stores experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Forklift license.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and work independently
  • Able to carry our physical tasks as required
  • Self motivated, good organisations skills
  • Suited to working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Punctual and reliable with exceptional interpersonal skills
