Are you passionate about creating digital content that puts the user at the centre of the experience? We’re looking for a talented Content Designer to shape the journey for our diverse community across the council’s digital platforms. This role is perfect for someone who can craft clear, accessible, and engaging content, guiding users effortlessly as they interact online. Leveraging data insights, you’ll adapt and refine content strategies to match user needs and contribute to our overall business goals through close collaboration with various teams.
  
Role Highlights:

  • Flexible Schedule: Work 3-4 days per week.
  • Contract Duration: Initial 2-month role with the potential for extension.
  • Hourly rate: $56.90 per hour + super.
  • Location: Local Council in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute content strategies that align with both user needs and business priorities.
  • Craft, edit, and organise content for web pages, mobile apps, and interfaces, enhancing usability.
  • Develop clear instructional materials, including user guides and help documents.
  • Utilize data analytics to gauge content performance and refine strategies based on insights.
  • Conduct regular content audits and analyse competitors to identify areas for growth.
  • Stay updated on trends in content design, UX writing, and digital formats.
  • Experiment with innovative formats to increase user engagement.
  • Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the content.
  • Draft and review customer-oriented templates and communications, ensuring consistency and clarity.
  • Identify content gaps and enhancement opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a relevant qualification or has equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated success in creating digital content for various platforms.
  • Familiar with digital marketing principles, UX design, and customer journey optimization.
