Australian Cyber Development Manager
CFC has gone through a period of significant growth, and with this continued growth we are looking to create and scale a national business development function to create a world-class Cyber sales team. As part of that, we are looking for our very first Australian Cyber Development Manager to work closely with our existing development, underwriters, Proactive and Incident Response teams in driving broker engagement across our distribution network and supporting our ambitious growth trajectory in Australia.This candidate will be responsible for building our brand presence with new and existing broker partnerships, and empower them through education to be experts in Cyber insurance. About the role
You will be primarily responsible for supporting sales initiatives across our Australian partnerships, creating efficiencies and processes around management and engagement of those relationships, identifying new broker relationships providing training and education to our broker partners.The role will require significant travel across Australia. You will be required to work closely with the Development Leader to action the cyber sales strategy as well as work collaboratively with the existing underwriting and development teams. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a fast growing and innovative Insurance business that loves to challenge the status quo and will require the candidate to be an ambitious self-starter who is able to be a team player and work independently given the travel required.Although the role will not be directly responsible for underwriting, it will require close interaction with the underwriters to ensure that messaging is aligned with underwriting strategy and to gain insight on day-to-day interactions amongst our underwriters and broker partners. It will equally require regular engagement with Marketing, Distribution, Claims, Proactive and Incident Response divisions to ensure we are delivering to our broker partners across the entire Cyber ecosystem.
About you
We’re looking for driven, self-starters with a strong work ethic. You should have good knowledge of cyber as a class of business and proven business development capability.You will have strong business development experience from either broking or underwriting, as well as excellent knowledge of the broker and cyber landscape in Australia. . You will be ambitious with strong customer service skills and an excellent understanding of insurance fundamentals and best practices from an agency management perspective.
You will be expected to work relatively autonomously but at the fast pace that underpins the successful framework of the CFC business.
