Our Facilities Fleet and Support Team are at the forefront of helping develop and implement this new working model for the ACT Government. To that end we are looking for a new team member to help us to provide support for our clients working in a modern and dynamic work environment that has been specifically designed to support a flexible work environment and activity based working.
As the CMTEDD Corporate WHS and Emergency Coordinator and Advisor you will perform many WHS and Emergency Management related duties including but not limited to provision of advice to various workgroups, managers and executive, developing and arranging information and training programs, organising and carrying out workplace inspections, identifying, and managing hazards. You will be the CMTEDD Corporate WHS lead for our office based locations.
The position covers the CMTEDD Corporate portfolio that includes but is not limited to 220 London Circuit, Winyu House, Various other buildings, tenancies and sites in the CMTEDD Corporate Portfolio and all current and future ACT Government FlexiSpaces.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Certificate IV or better in WHS is Highly Desirable “C” Class licenceNotes: This position available for an initial period of 2-3 months with a possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
