The Opportunity

As a seasoned health executive, your role will involve shaping an ambitious strategic direction for Ramsay Clinic New Farm. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion, while also taking on the responsibility of promoting mental health and wellbeing within the community and providing support to individuals on their recovery journeys.

What You Will Bring

Knowledge and experience in mental health service delivery will enhance your early success. However, to excel in this role you’ll be a dynamic and visionary leader with a genuine passion for mental health reform. Your ability to engage with individuals with lived experience of serious and persistent mental distress, as well as those in caring roles, is crucial. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sincere interest in Ramsay as an organisation and bring substantial experience in a comparable senior executive environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive senior management/executive experience.
  • Private hospital industry experience.
  • Collaborative stakeholder engagement ability.
  • Strong business development, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record in quality improvement and organisational change.
  • Deep financial management expertise.
  • Proficiency in team building, people development, and in achieving high performance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Clinical studies, or relevant professional experience are preferred.

Ramsay Clinic New Farm stands as a premier mental health care facility in Brisbane, leading the way in delivering private mental health services across Australia. With a focus on excellence, we provide an extensive array of inpatient, day, and community programs tailored to address various mental health concerns, including general mental health, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. Additionally, we specialise in dedicated programs for adolescents, young adult, eating disorders and substance misuse.
