Assessing Manager – Perth, WA

  • Lead a team of Home Claims Assessors

The Role:

A rare opportunity for someone to join our Suncorp Home Claims Team as an Assessing Manager.   This role is heavily focused on driving a high performing team, creating the best team culture and ensuring ongoing development of your people. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team Assessors based in WA
  • Drive a high performing culture and a safe & inclusive workplace.
  • Take ownership to drive your teams performance in achieving business targets and goals.
  • Provide direction, support and leadership to your team through varied channels (virtually, on road & in office).
  • Regular review and communicate business practices ensuring national consistency, governance and process standards are met.
  • Engage with peers and key stakeholders to understand overall Home Claims performance and leverage your teams capability effectively (technical or event support).
  • Look for and own continuous improvement initiatives aligned to our Assessing & Repair Strategy.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous people leadership/management experience (required)
  • Awareness of Home Insurance / Property Claims (preferred)
  • Full unrestricted drivers licence (required)
