About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Diabetes & Endocrinology Research Unit as Clinical Research Nurse, this position involves:
- Participant recruitment.
- Screening for early-stage type 1 diabetes.
- Coordination of monitoring for those identified to be in early-stage type 1 diabetes.
- Provide education and support to participants and their families.
- Collection and management of clinical and research data.
- Identify, analyse and evaluate research outcomes to ensure optimum production of high-quality research data.
- Reporting to the Type 1 Screen coordinating team at Melbourne Health.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to:
- Communicate effectively using well developed interpersonal and communication skills with people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds.
- Experience in clinical research and maintenance of GCP standards.
- Knowledge of clinical research processes from data management to protocol/case report, form design and study conduct, and of guidelines for compliance with safety, risk management and equal opportunity, particularly within a specific field that is relevant to the assigned operational area.
