Nurse Research Coordinator/Unit Manager

About the Role
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network, The Royal Adelaide Hospital, is seeking an exceptional ICU Research Nurse Unit Manager to play a crucial role in coordinating the Intensive Care Research Unit. As a clinical expert, you will drive excellence in research activities, manage the research team, and oversee the development and execution of innovative protocols.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care aligned with the Department of Health's quality framework, reporting results, and contributing to publications and presentations. You will also be accountable for nursing and midwifery practices within the research unit, addressing any discrepancies between practice and policy.
About You
We're looking for a Registered Nurse with a post-graduate qualification in critical care nursing, currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field. You will need to demonstrate a passion for nursing, research, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and facilitate change management.
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in intensive care nursing, with a solid background in clinical research and team management.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing regulations, quality improvement systems, and the ethical considerations of clinical research.
