ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be required to support the needs of Cranbrook Care and its residences, and will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full accounts function for AP, including entry of invoices into EPICOR and reconciliation of supplier statements for your allocated residence;
  • Managing the full accounts function for AR for your allocated residence, predominately entering existing resident/client details into the SLS system and billing them monthly;
  • Actioning credit card reconciliations and processing;
  • Assisting with general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Process payroll for your allocated residence
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgment of monthly BAS
  • Petty cash reconciliation for all residences
  • Process means-tested care fee reconciliation for your allocated residence

This is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand. You will build strong relationships with senior management across the organisation to enable you to perform your day-to-day role.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a team player and able to work automomously to provide excellence across our organisation. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • New Grad or 1+ years experience as an Accounts Assistant, AP Officer or bookkeeper.
  • Proficient in AP/AR functions
  • Solid understanding of the principles of ledger reconciliation 
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook. 
  • Previous payroll experience an advantage however not essential
  • Takes full responsibility for own actions and deliverables.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and an appreciation of the end user requirements
  • Demonstrates a high level of motivation and initiative.
  • Must be well presented and have attention to detail.
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare would be favoured, however is not essential. 
  • You will have an empathetic nature and a desire to enhance the quality of life for our residents and their families.
