Cranbrook Care is looking for motivated Assistant Accountant or New Grad to join the team at our Head Office in North Sydney.

Cranbrook Care is a premier provider of boutique aged care and retirement living residences.

ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will be required to support the needs of Cranbrook Care and its residences, and will be responsible for:

Managing the full accounts function for AP, including entry of invoices into EPICOR and reconciliation of supplier statements for your allocated residence;Managing the full accounts function for AR for your allocated residence, predominately entering existing resident/client details into the SLS system and billing them monthly;Actioning credit card reconciliations and processing;Assisting with general ledger and balance sheet reconciliationsProcess payroll for your allocated residenceAssist with the preparation and lodgment of monthly BASPetty cash reconciliation for all residencesProcess means-tested care fee reconciliation for your allocated residenceThis is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand.

You will build strong relationships with senior management across the organisation to enable you to perform your day-to-day role.
ABOUT YOUYou will be a team player and able to work automomously to provide excellence across our organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and qualifications:
New Grad or 1+ years experience as an Accounts Assistant, AP Officer or bookkeeper.

Proficient in AP/AR functionsSolid understanding of the principles of ledger reconciliation Intermediate Excel skillsExcellent computer skills in Word and Outlook.

Previous payroll experience an advantage however not essentialTakes full responsibility for own actions and deliverables.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and an appreciation of the end user requirementsDemonstrates a high level of motivation and initiative.
Must be well presented and have attention to detail.
Experience in aged care or healthcare would be favoured, however is not essential.
