About Our Client

Our client is a disruptive cosmetics company, seeking a talented International Logistics Manager to join the team in the heart of Sydney CBD.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Align the international transportation network to support business growth and market requirements
  • Monitor the performance of relevant logistics providers, ensuring they are aware of deadlines, priorities, and special instructions, collecting monthly KPI data, attending regular site visits and governance meetings.
  • Address performance or operational issues with providers, including freight delays and corrective actions, as required.
  • Own and manage the international freight budget and negotiate favourable rates and terms with providers.
  • If needed, review & design optimal logistics network to ensure high service and efficiency is delivered

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain for a fast-paced, sizable company
  • Ability to build effective and influential relationships in a cross-functional and international team environment
  • Proven track record of complex problem solving and pro-active process improvement
  • Proven track record in managing a substantial cost budget
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, commercial & organizational skills
