About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team at Philips International. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our warehouse operations, managing logistics processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration with our third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and manage inventory discrepancies between our warehouse management system (WMS) and SAP system.
  • Coordinate storage capacity planning with our warehouse provider and ensure optimal use of storage space.
  • Collaborate with our account team and market demand planner to develop accurate forecasts and manage inventory levels.
  • Manage returns process and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to warehouse performance, logistics, and reverse logistics.
  • Proactively manage distribution costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support transformation projects, such as introducing new flows and automation, to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in setting up operations with new 3PL providers and ensure seamless transition.
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in logistics or equivalent field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution processes, preferably within medical devices industries.
  • Good knowledge of SAP software (SAP SBO / PRD) and Excel skills.
  • Available to work from our warehouse located in Hoxton Park once per week, on average.
  • Accustomed to effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with focus on efficiency.
  • Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be solutions-focused, creative, innovative with a high level of organizational and planning skills.
  • The ability to critically think through multiple-step processes and follow up on details.
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Be a results-oriented and highly analytical individual.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Bring unique expertise or skills to the team that complement and enhance existing capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
