IT Support Officer
Pymble NSW 2073, Australia Req #272 22 July 2024Corin is seeking an IT Support Officer to provide overall IT Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 onsite support for all of Corin Australia. This will include both hardware and software support.
All aspects of the role must be compliant with the companies’ policies and procedures including the Information Security Management System and the ISO 27001 standard and the Quality Management System and ISO13485 Standard.
The key responsibilities of the IT Support Officer
• First point of contact and management of new and existing Australian helpdesk tickets including the management and setup of new machines and new team members
• Collaborating with the team in the UK to ensure global IT strategy is developed, implemented, maintained and supported.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot & resolve IT problems, incidents & requests
• Manage the efficient and effective maintenance and operation of Corin’s infrastructure including but not limited to the installation, configuration & maintenance of local IT infrastructure ( desktop, server, hardware, software, internet, telephony & networking)
• Contribute to the technical strategy and planning of Corin and the supporting projects
• Ensure the correct operational and change management processes and procedures are in place and followed and are aligned with the headquarters in the UK
• Perform routine operational & administrative duties ( back up & restore, maintenance, deployment, documentation) and publish knowledge base articles where possible
• Assistance in the design and implementation, planning and budgeting of IT projects and spend throughout the Corin financial year.
The ideal IT Support Officer
• Qualifications in IT or a related discipline
• 2-3 years’ experience in an IT support role.
• Proven technology skills - Microsoft (AD, Office/Outlook/Exchange, Azure), Cisco, Networking, Virtualisation (VMWare and Veeam)
• Technical Certification in following fields - MCP, CCNA, ITIL
• Broad knowledge of IT technologies and systems
• Experience in the implementation of IT projects
• Metrics oriented, a team player with excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and technical writing skills, fluency in English
• High level of initiative, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
