About the Role 
We are seeking a Senior Coordinator for our Innovation Program at Swinburne Innovation Studio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, execution, and successful delivery of our programs. You will work closely with the Program Coordinator and the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, managing key external relationships to ensure that our initiatives align with Swinburne’s goals in commercialization and entrepreneurship.

The Senior Coordinator will play a vital role in fostering an innovation-driven community, leading events, and coordinating efforts with both internal and external stakeholders. If you are passionate about innovation and collaboration, we invite you to apply and be part of our dynamic team.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Extensive experience in managing complex programs, ideally within the innovation, entrepreneurship, or commercialization ecosystems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience managing relationships with external stakeholders, program mentors, and industry partners
  • Experience in event planning and delivery, with the ability to manage both operational and strategic aspects of events
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives
  • Knowledge of or experience in academic research programs or research commercialisation initiatives (desirable)

Qualifications
A degree and/or equivalent experience in program management, innovation, entrepreneurship, or related fields.
