The role
Due to business growth and the stability of the team, they now require a dedicated HR person to take responsibility for all people and culture initiatives and use their expertise to continue to elevate this area.  
This will be a part time position of 3-4 days, with flexibility in the days and hours.  There is potential to increase down the track as the consultancy continues to grow 
A great opportunity to join a successful firm, whilst bringing a fresh set of eyes to further improve and evolve their HR strategy and operation. 

Key areas:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and processes
  • Design and implement a performance review structure, career development plans and other talent retention strategies
  • Create and manage a robust onboarding process and employee lifecycle
  • Lead recruitment requirements and advise on best practices
  • Upskill and empower managers and leaders through training and advice
  • Provide advice on Fair Work, employment law and compliance matters

About you:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior level HR Generalist role
  • HR experience in a white collar, professional environment - Engineering ideal 
  • Proven experience in strategy and building / improving HR functions
  • Expertise in recruitment methods, employee engagement, performance management and policy development
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
