ABOUT THE ROLE:

JRM are currently working in partnership with this award winning company to find their next star employee.

We are seeking a driven and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the operations and team at this stunning venue in the Eastern Suburbs. The venue is a prime location for events and weddings and mixes this up with lunches and afternoon tea through the week. The grounds and the venue are amazing and the service reflects this on every level.

Successful candidates will have experience in managing busy high-end venues, have experience in event management and possess exceptional communication and customer service standards.

About the role:

  • Ensure the highest quality of product and client service, by leading from the front and providing ongoing training and mentorship to the team. Effectively handle guest satisfaction and feedback.
  • Effective cost and financial management of the business including time efficient communication and reporting with the company's financial controller.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Manage stock levels of beverages, as well as effective ordering, receiving and storage.
  • Responsible for all rostering, hiring and training of staff in the venue.
  • Manage reservations and booking reports.
  • Liaise with the Head Chef on menu planning.

About you:

  • At least 5 years in a similar role at a minimum of Restaurant Manager.
  • Experience in managing events and bookings highly regarded.
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
  • Excellent communicator with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Professional and driven attitude with an eye for detail and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and providing staff training and mentorship.
