Role: Accounts Payable Officer

Join our dynamic Accounts Payable team as an Officer, where precision meets passion
You’ll play a key role in processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely, accurate payments for all Goodstart centres.

Your Impact:
Operations
- Process invoices efficiently, adhering to company policies and legislative requirements
- Ensure accurate data-entry, reconciliation, and vendor setup
- Assist with account reconciliations and employee expense claims
- Build and review payment files, maintain electronic financial records
- Collaborate with the Commercial & Procurement team for smooth vendor transactions
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Address supplier and staff queries promptly through various channels
- Document and escalate issues as needed to meet SLAs
- Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Provide excellent customer service to resolve inquiries quickly and effectively
Process Monitoring & Improvement
- Implement and refine record-keeping systems and payment strategies
- Identify and correct issues in SAP, ensuring accurate account coding and GST compliance
- Maintain and update vendor details, including payment schedules and agreements

You’ll bring to the table:
Essential:
- Experience in an Accounts Payable position
- The ability to work in a team environment and to flex across different areas within the role
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Great Customer Service and communication skills
Desired:
- Previous experience/knowledge of SAP
- Certificate III or IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- Previous Early Learning Industry knowledge/experience
